Safe Kids Upstate provides public education and safety devices throughout the community. In addition, the organization advocates for laws and policies to keep South Carolina’s children injury-free. Since Safe Kids Upstate began serving Oconee County, unintentional injury to children has declined by 17 percent countywide.
