Children’s Programs

Let’s get moving!

It’s never too early to introduce a health and fitness routine into your child’s life. The GHS Life Center offers programs to get kids moving on their own, or with their family. PATH members also receive discounted rates for YMCA-sponsored youth sports and Camp Greenville.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run (ages 8-11) and Girls on Track (ages 12-15) are 12-week after school programs that use the power of running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Through interactive activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues, participants learn how to celebrate being girls. It’s a lot more than a running program! Family Workouts

Parents can work out alongside their children during off-peak hours. Children must be age 6 or older and accompanied in the arena by a parent. Youngsters can enjoy activities such as jumping rope, tumbling, and exercising with bands and balls.

Off-peak hours generally occur:
Mon. – Fri.: noon – 4:30 p.m.
Sat.: 2-6 p.m.
Sun.: 3-5 p.m.

Kids Korner

A free child-care service for members. We will care for your children ages 8 weeks to 9 years for a two-hour time period while you use our facility. Only a child’s parent or legal guardian is authorized for drop-off or pick-up.

Reservations are requested and should be made the day of use. Guests may use Kids Korner for a nominal fee per hour per child depending on availability (reservations requested).

Hours:
Mon.-Thurs.: 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; 4-7:30 p.m.
Fri.: 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Sat.: 8 a.m.-noon
Sun.: Closed
