The GHS Language Services Department has more than 50 qualified medical interpreters who provide services in person, over the phone or by video. Interpreters serve GHS hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician practices.

Available around the clock, the Language Services Department provides access to more than 200 languages over the phone and many in person.
In addition to offering an impressive array of interpreting services, GHS is one of the few health systems in the nation that features a team of in-house translators who translate a wide variety of GHS documents.
GHS provides interpreting services for deaf and hard-of-hearing patients using both in-person and video-remote interpreters. Our video interpreting service provides the patient with a view of the interpreter through a computer screen.
