SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 3, 2017)—Greenville Health System plans to extend its services in Spartanburg County this spring with the opening of GHS Surgery Center-Spartanburg.
The center is scheduled to open in April at 1413 John B. White Sr. Blvd.
“This new center will make surgery even more convenient for GHS patients living in Spartanburg County,” said Dr. Wendell James, GHS regional chief clinical officer for Greer and Spartanburg. “GHS has offered a number of services in Spartanburg over the years and adding surgery meets an important need.”
The 4,120 square-foot center will include two operating rooms where gastrointestinal, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry and pain procedures will be performed. A multi-specialty physician office will also be onsite for physicians performing gastrointestinal and general surgery. There will be space for additional services over time.
