Welcome to Women’s Services – a comprehensive department of Greenville Health System (GHS). We provide female specific services including obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology as well as gynecologic oncology with the GHS Cancer Institute. Outstanding patient-centered care, the education of medical students and residents, and research in women’s health are the cornerstones of our effort to promote the health of women.

With a focus on translational research and personalized medicine, GHS’ Institute for Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) provides some of the most advanced cancer treatments available anywhere in the world.
Greenville Health System offers patients a unique approach to cancer treatment through its Multidisciplinary Center (MDC) at the GHS Cancer Institute. The MDC allows a patient to accomplish in one morning visit what previously may have taken weeks.
Greenville Health System’s Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship (CIOS) is a new patient-centered program that integrates evidenced-based complementary therapies with traditional cancer care to treat the “whole patient,” encompassing mind, body and spirit.
Endometriosis & Infertility-There is Still Hope
Endometriosis affects women and occurs when tissue, similar to the lining of the womb (uterus) grows in other areas of the body. This tissue grows mainly in the abdominal cavity. The tissue is linked to the woman’s hormonal cycle. However, unlike a period, the tissue remains within the body and bleeds forming adhesions (scar tissue), lesions and blood-filled cysts.
