Our Affiliate System

We are building one organization with affiliates in two regions. Our parent company, now known as Prisma Health, supports both affiliates with overall direction and leadership as we continue to align. We will soon share one brand across the entire organization to better reflect this. The rebranded Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group will continue to operate as a joint venture between the Midlands affiliate and the USC School of Medicine.

Having a Baby?

Time to call your Obstetrician

Congratulations! If a home pregnancy test has confirmed that you are pregnant, the physicians of Greenville Ob/Gyn encourage you to call your office to make your first OB appointment.

During your pregnancy you will have the opportunity to meet each of our physicians. Our priority throughout your pregnancy is to provide the most highly advanced medical support while building a relationship where you feel comfortable establishing a medical home after delivery.

We deliver at Greenville Memorial Hospital located at 701 Grove Road in Greenville, SC and Patewood Memorial Hospital located at 175 Patewood Drive in Greenville, SC.

Visit our events calendar to register for hospital tours and prenatal classes.

Pregnancy is an exciting time, but it can be stressful, too. That’s why GHS has developed the Pregnancy Journey Newsletter to help you along the way.

The Pregnancy Journey is a series of emails that will bring you information, tips and peace of mind. Let us help you find answers to your questions about pregnancy and your baby’s development. We’re excited to share the ride with you!

Your Birth Plan

The birth of your baby should be one of the most memorable, life-changing and joyful experiences of your life. You will want to spend time thinking through the details of your hopes and desires for this special event.

A birth plan is a simple, clear, one-page statement of your preferences for the birth of your child. Providing a copy of the plan for everyone directly involved in the birth will help them better understand what is happening and give them the opportunity to resolve issues before the big day. The plan will provide an effective avenue for discussing important details with those responsible for supporting and caring for you.

Fill out your birth plan and take it to your physician during your 30 week visit.

NOTE: Try to remain reasonably flexible in your desires because things don’t always go according to plan. Remember that the important thing is the safe birth of your little bundle of joy.
