Pediatrics

At GHS Center for Prosthetics & Orthotics, we understand the importance of a team approach when assessing your child’s orthotic needs. We will work closely with your child’s physical or occupational therapist to compassionately provide the best orthotic solution for his or her unique needs. Clinicians from our various locations routinely travel to local pediatric clinics and schools. We are extremely fortunate that our locations in Easley and downtown Greenville are under the same roof as large pediatric therapy practices. Such a collaborative approach reduces the need for multiple visits, while fostering a team environment. We also work closely with home therapists and those at other locations, seeing the child together when needed.

We offer a full range of pediatric orthotic and prosthetic devices: foot orthotics, SMOs, AFOs, KAFOs, knee orthoses, spinal orthoses, upper limb devices, cranial remolding orthoses, upper and lower limb prostheses. We stay updated on new technologies and enjoy innovating to accommodate your child’s special situation.

Our idiopathic scoliosis and pectus carinatum bracing programs provide comprehensive orthotic management. We provide education, support, and routine follow up during an often difficult time for your adolescent child. Our clinicians are skilled in fitting the full time Boston Scoliosis Brace, the night time Charleston Bending and Providence Scoliosis Braces, and specialized pectus carinatum orthosis.

Our experienced board certified Prosthetists and Orthotists are here to meet your expectations and create an environment that is comfortable for your child feel, while creating a bracing process that is as stress free as possible!
