At Greenville Health System, our goal is to provide you with the right care at the right time in the right place. As health care continues to change, that concept looks different for different people. For some, the right place may be in a traditional doctor’s office, while others may prefer a medical setting they can visit when it’s convenient for them. Still others would rather get the care they need without pausing their lives to visit a medical facility.
We get it. And we want to provide your care to you in the way you want it.
SmartExam lets you connect online with a GHS care provider wherever you are—at work, at home or on the go—for only $20. So if you’re suffering from sinus pain, a UTI, a cold or a variety of other common health conditions, you can use SmartExam to receive a diagnosis, treatment plan and prescription if needed, all without missing a beat in your busy life. For those who may want an actual visit with their primary care doctor, but would rather schedule an appointment online, we offer online appointment requests. When you request an appointment online, someone from that physician practice will call you within two business days to assist you in scheduling your appointment. You can access online appointment requests from your doctor’s profile page. Find your doctor here.
You also can schedule appointments through your MyChart account, if you have one. MyChart is an online tool that connects you with your personal health information and your healthcare team quickly and easily. When you request an appointment through MyChart, your doctor’s office will communicate with you through MyChart to schedule the appointment. To learn more about MyChart, click here.
When you don’t want to deal with making appointments at all, you can access medical care on your schedule at our convenient care facilities. For treatment of non-emergency conditions for all ages, visit one of GHS’ five MD360® Convenient Care locations in Greenville, Spartanburg and Pickens counties, or Mountain Lakes Community Care in Seneca. At these facilities, you can receive walk-in care from GHS care providers who are board-certified in either family medicine or emergency medicine.
Whether you already have a primary care provider or not, you can call 1-844-GHS-DOCS (447-3627) to schedule a doctor appointment. If you don’t have a doctor, the trained representatives can assist in connecting you with the right kind of doctor and scheduling your appointment.
Of course, if you already have a primary care doctor, you can always call the practice directly to schedule an appointment.
