For your convenience, appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Our office is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Call (864) 859-4480 to schedule your appointment.
Because we respect your time, we sincerely try to stay on schedule; however, occasionally unforeseen problems and emergencies will arise. We will keep you informed of any delays and will ask your preference of either waiting or rescheduling your appointment. If we are seeing you for the first time, we will do a complete physical, depending on the reason for your visit. This will require more time and will be handled differently than a regular appointment. We also try to make an effort to see “work-ins,”or patients who need to be seen but who do not have an appointment. We can do this by fitting in these patients between or after scheduled appointments, which may require a longer wait.
To allow us to be respectful to all patients, we ask that you give us at least a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call us at (864) 859-4480, option 1.
We handle most emergency problems in the office during regular office hours. However, should your emergency occur after hours or during the weekend, our voicemail service will direct you to where you need to go or call to contact the physician that will be on call.
If it is a life-threatening emergency, we urge you to call Emergency Medical Services at 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Fees and Insurance
We accept most insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid. If you have a question about our fees or about your bill, please call our office, and we will assist you.
Payment is due when services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Mastercard and Visa. We will be glad to help you process your insurance claims for reimbursement by providing an itemized statement with all necessary information needed by your insurance carrier. In some cases, we accept assignment of benefits and will file your insurance for you. It is your responsibility to fully understand your coverage benefits and to verify that we are listed as approved providers prior to scheduling an appointment with us.
Please make your prescription and renewal requests during our regular business hours when your chart is available. We are not able to call them in after regular business hours. If you call in your request before 3 p.m., the prescription will be called in or filed electronically to the pharmacy of your preference by the end of the day. Therefore, if the request is called in after 3 p.m., please allow 24 hours for the prescription to be called in or filed electronically to the pharmacist.
For your safety, we cannot approve prescription renewals if you have not seen the physician in our office within a one-year period or have not seen the physician for any recommended follow-up care within three months.
