We see patients by appointment, except for medical emergencies. If you need an urgent appointment, please call the office and we will make every effort to see you the same day.
Please bring your prescription medications with you to your appointment. Please have a copy of your current insurance card For follow-up appointments, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow our staff to prepare for your visit with the doctor.
If you arrive after your scheduled time, we may ask you to reschedule. If you are unable to keep an appointment, we request that you notify the office 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments may result in a fee.
Our physicians are available for after-hours emergency calls. We request that routine questions be directed to the clinical staff during office hours.
Our clinical staff is available to answer questions and help you decide if you need an appointment. A staff member will return your call if made before 4:00 PM. After 4:00 PM calls will be returned the next day.
If you need to be hospitalized, we will refer you to the care of physicians in the Hospitalist Program at a facility of Prisma Heath. Hospitalists, who specialize in the care of hospitalized adults and offer immediate, continuous and high-quality care. They will provide us with regular updates about your diagnosis, treatment plan and condition. Then, upon discharge from the hospital, you will return to the care of our physicians.
Bring all of your medications to your appointment. Prescriptions for refills will be given at your office visit. If you need a refill between office visits, please call us during office hours. We require 24 hours to process these requests.
Special forms and correspondence
A processing fee will be applied for special forms and correspondence, including but not limited to requests related to life insurance, employment, sports/physicals, disability, driver’s licenses, nursing home and assisted living admission forms, and FMLA.
Insurance and payment policy
Our office will assist you in filing claims with your insurance company. We request payment for co-pays and deductibles at the time of your visit. Please be familiar with your policy and coverage to avoid potential financial penalties. Please let us know about any changes in your insurance coverage or personal information.
Cash, checks, and most major credit and debit cards are accepted.
