Dr. Goldsmith grew up in Augusta, Georgia and completed his undergraduate study at the University of Georgia where he graduated with Honors in 2003. His Bachelors of Science degree was composed of biology, exercise science, and pharmacology. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2008 and received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award.
He went on to residency in the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program with Greenville Health System, where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
Drew and his wife, Michelle, have three boys and two girls. He is especially interested in newborn care, preventive medicine, adolescent care and medical missions. He has served communities in Ghana, Haiti, Mexico and Trinidad. Drew enjoys being involved with his church and spending time with his family.
Dr. Johnson, of Summerville, SC, studied biochemistry as part of the Clemson University Calhoun Honors College. Graduating summa cum laude, he proceeded to the Medical University of South Carolina where he served as Student Government Association president. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine following training in those disciplines at Greenville Health System.
Now he is excited to serve with Heritage Pediatrics & Internal Medicine in Wren. His medical interests include newborn care, infectious disease, adoption and travel medicine, preventive care and healthy lifestyles.
Gregg and his wife, Jeanne, call the Upstate home and enjoy hiking the hills, and the many opportunities our city has to offer. As part of an international family, Gregg has interest in languages, foreign cultures and medical work abroad.
Dr. Briggs graduated magna cum laude from Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is a graduate of University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine–Pediatrics residency at Greenville Health System. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, and the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
Dr. Briggs takes a special interest in newborn care, preventive care, sports medicine and hypertension. Dr. Briggs has participated in medical missions in the Dominican Republic, Peru and Trinidad.
Along with his wife Lane and their three children, Dr. Briggs enjoys the outdoors. He is also an avid sports fan and likes to talk sports with anyone who will listen.
Dr. Crosby grew up in Easley. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Furman University with magna cum laude honors. He also was a 4-year football letterman. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina where he was awarded membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society and participated in several mission trips to North Africa. He then completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Greenville Health System.
Dr. Crosby is excited to be back in the Upstate and serve the community in which he was raised. His interests are in newborn care, all aspects of general pediatrics, medical missions, integrative medicine and partnering with patients to encourage healthy lifestyle patterns.
Dr. Crosby, his wife and their children enjoy being a part of a very big local family. He is also passionate about Clemson/Furman/Easley High sports (in no order of importance), traveling, outdoor activity, exercise and his church.
Janie spent her childhood in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties and is a graduate of Dorman High School. She graduated with honors from Clemson University Calhoun Honors College with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. She completed a Provost Fellowship and earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and is a member of the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Assistants.
Janie has particular interests in adolescent health, women’s health, and preventive medicine. She has participated in medical trips to Ethiopia, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua and spent a summer in Salamanca, Spain as a member of a missions team. She enjoys discovering the latest interesting podcast, exploring the outdoors, improving her Spanish language skills, and helping with her church youth group.
Kara was born and raised in Piedmont. She graduated magna cum laude from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Health Care Management. She enjoys going to church, spending time with family and friends, Clemson football, and shopping.
Megan was born and raised in Powdersville, where she now lives with her husband, Michael, and their golden/husky mix, Sadie. She has worked in health care since 2012. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the guitar/music, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
Emily was born and raised in Easley, South Carolina, and graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an Associate’s degree in business management. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves staying active and spending time outdoors.
Savannah was born and raised in Piedmont and graduated from Wren High School. She grew up playing softball and was a student athlete. She enjoys riding four wheelers, going to the lake and spending time with family, friends and her chocolate lab, Diesel. She attends Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Whitney was born and raised in Piedmont, SC. She is currently studying to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. She lives in Piedmont with her husband, Ryan, and their two small children. In addition to making memories with her family, Whitney enjoys cheering on the New York Yankees and Clemson Tigers!
Leah and her husband Jared, and their Cockapoo, Bella, live in Simpsonville, SC. She is a graduate of The University of South Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She also works on the Family Beginnings floor at Prisma Health. Leah and her husband are expecting their first child in June 2015. She loves spending time with family and friends and traveling.
Heather was born and raised in Honea Path. She graduated from Greenville Tech in 2016 as a CMA. She has a Shih Tzu named Bentley. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, hiking and fishing. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina–Upstate, Amanda gained experience at hospice care and as an Inpatient Pediatrics nurse with Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Upstate. Amanda and her husband Christopher currently live in Greenville and have a daughter, Emerson. Amanda enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Whitney was born and raised in Easley, where she currently resides with her husband and son. She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College with a degree in Nursing. She has many years of experience in the health care field where she has spent most of her time in a community care residential facility (CCRF). She enjoys being outside, going to church and spending time with family.
Chelsea was born and raised in Blue Ridge but currently lives in Piedmont with her husband, Joseph, and her two children, Brooklyn and Brayden. She has been a CMA since 2014 and enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as shopping and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
Keri was born and raised in Louisiana. After moving to South Carolina, she attended Greenville Technical College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. She currently lives in Williamston with her husband Jason and her son, Jonathan. She enjoys camping, Clemson football games, and spending time with family and friends.
Kaci earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Clemson University and has experience as an inpatient pediatric nurse. Kaci and her husband Paul live in Greenville with their girls Hattie and Harper and their dog Millie. She enjoys reading, running, and spending time with family and friends. Kaci is excited to be a part of the Heritage Team.
Shannon is a recent graduate, joining Heritage Pediatrics & Internal Medicine-Wren as her first position into the medical field. She was born in Greenville and raised in Easley. She enjoys spending time with her kids, watching Clemson football and vacationing at the beach.
Bonnie is originally from Northwest Georgia, but has now settled in South Carolina with her husband, Michael, a Sergeant First Class in the US Army. They have three young children, Ella, Hazel, and James. She graduated from nursing school in 2014, and just finished her Masters in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She enjoys discovering Greenville, but also loves traveling back home to Georgia to visit with friends and family.
Holly is from Belton where she lives with her husband, Matthew and Cockapoo, Sadie. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. Before working at Heritage, she served as an inpatient pediatric nurse. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping for antiques, attending USC footballs and spending time outdoors.
Savannah was born and raised in Fountain Inn, SC. In 2015, she graduated from Greenville Technical College as a CMA. In her free time, she and her husband, Aaron, enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outside, and trail riding with their four-wheelers.
Kathryn was born and raised in Chickamauga, Georgia. After attending the University of Georgia for two years, Kathryn transferred to Augusta University to complete her BSN. Kathryn, her husband Trey and Goldendoodle, Athena, live in Greenville. They enjoy biking, playing tennis and being outdoors with their dog.
Brittany is from Easley, where she still lives with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of Wren High School and a 2011 Tri-County Technical College as a Certified Medical Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially taking trips to Tennessee and experimenting with new recipes.
Jana was born and raised in Piedmont, SC and lives there currently with her husband and two small children. She received her BSN at Anderson University. She enjoys shopping, going to church and spending time with her family. She is excited to join the team at Heritage.
