Seneca Medical Associates is proud to have provided Oconee County with outstanding primary care since the late 1940s. Established to meet the area’s urgent need for medical care, the practice has grown and adapted to meet changing medical needs. However, we have remained committed to advancing the health of community residents by being part of their lives and providing the best care possible.
Today, our team of seven board-certified physicians, caring nurses and an experienced laboratory staff works closely together to provide high-quality care. Seneca Medical Associates also serves as an outpatient training location for Family Medicine residents.

To limit wait times, we see patients by appointment only. If you need an urgent appointment, please call in the early morning and we will try to see you that same day.

For all medical emergencies, please call 911. Afterhours, one of our physicians is on call.
Throughout the day, most patients’ questions can be answered by one of our experienced staff. Calls made before 4 p.m. will be returned that same business day.
Visits to the nurse are scheduled by appointment for immunizations, weight checks, bilirubin checks (for jaundice), blood pressure checks, B-12 shots, testosterone shots, cardiac event monitors, diabetes and/or porosis education and medication assistance programs.
Refill requests usually are processed within 24 hours. If a prescription is needed sooner, a $30 fee may be charged.
