Additional Resources for AYA Patients

Help Along Your Journey

The needs of the AYA population are diverse and complex. AYA patients are developing cancer during a crucial time in their transition to adulthood. This places strain on social relationships, career and school goals, family issues and finances.

At GHS, we have a collaborative team of social workers, psychologists, pastoral care, nutritionists, physical therapists, alternative therapy experts and financial counselors to meet the needs of our patients during this stressful time. These resources are primarily provided through the Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship (CIOS). Additionally, through CIOS, patients will develop a survivorship plan once they complete their cancer therapy.
