Caring for Your Child

For well child visits and most sick visits the pediatrician you choose will treat your child. However, it is possible that due to emergencies or absences from the office, one of the other pediatricians, may see your child.  In the case of urgent visits the physician in the office or on call will see your child.

One of the pediatricians is always available nights and weekends for emergencies. In addition, the Greenville office offers Saturday morning hours for emergency visits. We ask that unless the medical situation is an absolute emergency you do not go to the hospital emergency room, but call us first. The pediatrician on call will evaluate the situation, and determine if you should go to the E.R. or be seen in the office.  If you do go directly to the E.R. for a non-emergency without calling, care will usually be provided by the E.R. physician. If a true medical emergency exists we will provide care as quickly as possible.
