Primary care sports medicine didactics: core lecture series
Department of Orthopaedics sports medicine didactic series
Sports Medicine Journal Club: held monthly with orthopaedic fellows. Fellows will become competent in the critical evaluation of current sports medicine literature.
Fracture conference: held monthly with orthopaedic faculty. This conference is a forum to allow fellows to develop their radiographic interpretation skills, discuss fracture management, complications, and pitfalls to avoid.
Sports medicine/vascular rounds: Quarterly session with vascular medicine fellows reviewing topics such as thoracic outlet syndrome, popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, and exertional compartment syndrome.
Anatomy/bioskills lab: Monthly anatomical dissections are performed with orthopaedic fellows, residents, and primary sports medicine fellows on areas such as the knee, shoulder, foot/ankle, wrist/forearm, and elbow.
CAQ preparation: Our curriculum is designed to prepare each fellow to successful sit for and acquire their CAQ in sports medicine.
