4th Year Clinical Courses

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Greenville Health System is proud to offer clinical courses for 4th year medical students. These programs are offered in collaboration with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, the Medical University of South Carolina, and through the South Carolina Area Health Education Consortium. Each of our 4-week clinical courses is designed to provide a focused patient-centered learning experience in one of the main clinical subspecialty areas in obstetrics & gynecology. These experiences should offer you enhanced information concerning women's health issues needed by any practicing obstetrician/gynecologist and expose you to the breadth of academic medicine.

NOTE: University of South Carolina School of Medicine (USCSOM) students will receive priority during scheduling of all 4th year electives. Prior to May 15th of each academic year, only USCSOM students will be scheduled for electives. After May 15th, visiting students will be scheduled on a space available basis.
