Campus

Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) is committed to meeting the needs of all of the communities we serve. As Greer grows, so do we. That's why we're expanding in Greer. Our new Greer Medical Campus is located on 130 scenic acres near Highway 14 and Buncombe Road.

Construction has already begun on Greer Memorial Hospital, which will replace Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital. Greer Memorial Hospital is designed to reflect the warmth and appearance of Greer to blend seamlessly into the surrounding community. The hospital will be equipped with advanced facilities for state-of-the-art medical and surgical care in a patient-centered environment. It’s cutting-edge medicine delivered with a gentle touch.

Services at Greer Memorial Hospital will include eight maternity suites, six ICU beds, a Level III Emergency Trauma Center, diagnostic services, laser and endoscopic surgeries and a Breast Health Center.

Greer Medical Campus will also be home to two medical office buildings. The medical offices are designed to be harmonious with the look of the rest of the buildings on campus and they’ll be situated on opposite sides of an inviting courtyard. Orthopaedic services will be provided by Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and a cancer care will be provided thanks to our collaboration with CancerCenters of the Carolinas. These offices will also house family practitioners, pediatricians and OB-GYNs.

The Cottages at Brushy Creek is also located on Greer Medical Campus.
