Children's Programs

It’s never too early to introduce health and fitness routines into your child’s life. The Greenville Health System Life Center ® Health & Conditioning Club offers programs to get kids moving on their own or with the family. Children's programs include:

Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run (ages 8-11) and Girls on Track (ages 12-15) are 12 week after school programs that use the power of running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Through interactive activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues, participants learn how to celebrate being girls. It’s a lot more than a running program!

Strong Kids
Strong Kids is a special program for adolescents 11-13 years old. Participants who complete three one-hour training sessions with a conditioning specialist receive approval to work out in the arena. A nominal fee is charged.

Family Workouts
Parents can work out alongside their children during off-peak hours. Children must be age 9 or older and accompanied in the arena by their parent. Youngsters can enjoy activities such as jumping rope, tumbling, and exercising with bands and balls.

Family workout times are Thursday and Friday, 7-8 p.m.; Saturday, 2-6 p.m
.; and Sunday, 3-5 p.m.

Kids Korner -- This baby-sitting service is offered at no cost to members and accepts children ages 8 weeks to 8 years. Each child has a two-hour time limit. Only parents or legal guardians may use Kids Korner.

Life Center Kids Korner hours:  

  • Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; 4:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Friday, 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Closed
