To see the nurse for shots (including for birth control), blood pressure checks or weight checks, please make an appointment.
For a refill request, please call our office during office hours. You can pick up the medicine in two days from your pharmacy. Prescriptions for controlled substances require a visit with a provider.
Medical Records and Forms
You can ask for your medical records at our front desk. Immunization records will be available in two business days.
When You Are in the Hospital
Our care does not stop in the clinic! If you need to go to Greer Memorial Hospital, we have a team of doctors who can take care of you there. Our team in the hospital and our doctors here in the clinic work closely together to provide ongoing care, no matter the setting.
Insurance and Payment Policy
Our office visits are billed to your insurance provider as an outpatient facility for Prisma Health. Our faculty oversees the residents in our program and can bill a professional fee for that role. This fee creates what is known as a split bill. As a patient you may see two bills, one from University Medical Group for the professional fee and one from Prisma Health for the facility bill.
Medicare and Medicaid have provisions in their billing structure to allow payment of these oversight faculty professional charges. Many private insurance payers do not. If you have questions about whether your private insurance would cover your visit to CFM–Greer, please contact your insurance company for guidance on your coverage guidelines.
We will file your insurance for you. You will need to pay insurance copayments and other money owed at the time of service, unless previous payment arrangements have been made. All co-payments are expected during check-in. We accept credit cards, checks and cash.
