In collaboration with other cancer care team members, cancer nurses at Greenville Health System (GHS) bring years of experience in cancer care and specialized cancer nursing education to their practice. Most of the cancer nurses at GHS are certified by the Oncology Nursing Society as either an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN, AOCNS, AOCNP). At GHS, cancer nurses provide care in the inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and Ambulatory Infusion Clinic, in a variety of roles from bedside care to advanced practice.
