Working together for a healthier community

PATH (Partners Achieving Total Health) is a wellness initiative of Greenville Health System (GHS) and YMCA of Greenville that provides access to fitness and preventative care that’s affordable, easily accessible and focused on reaching people before they get sick.

Whatever you are looking for in a fitness facility, the PATH fitness membership can help make a healthy lifestyle achievable and convenient with access to multiple YMCA of Greenville and GHS Life Center locations, as well as special rates for popular wellness programs.

Two PATH membership options are available: Individual ($70 a month) and Family ($85 a month). New members will be assessed a one-time initiation fee of $75 (individuals) or $100 (families).

PATH membership also includes discounted rates for YMCA-sponsored youth sports and Camp Greenville, as well as nutritional consultations, massage therapy and other services offered at the Life Center.

Together, GHS and the YMCA of Greenville are providing greater access to health and wellness services and creating more opportunities for everyone to succeed on their journey to better health. Other PATH programs include:

Wellness Way

A medically-based, six-week program for adults at risk for chronic conditions such as heart disease. Participants learn how to manage their disease by adopting healthy behaviors, including regular exercise and a healthy eating plan. Physician referral is required. GHS primary care practices also provide medical oversight for this initiative, with a GHS registered nurse onsite at the YMCA delivering care for Wellness Way patients.

Community Education

GHS physicians and clinicians provide free health education seminars throughout the year at all YMCA branches.

New Impact

A comprehensive weight management program for children and adolescents between the ages of six and 20. Participants learn how to manage their weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle while working with a team from GHS and the YMCA consisting of a fitness expert, pediatrician, psychologist and dietitian.
