Dr. Skaggs graduated from the University of Georgia summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2003. She later received her Medical Degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2007. Dr. Skaggs completed Internal Medicine residency at the Greenville Hospital System in 2010. While a resident, Dr. Skaggs was awarded the Intern of the Year Award in 2007, Resident of the Year in 2010, and served as Chief Resident during the 2009-2010 academic year.
Currently certified in Internal Medicine, she works both at the Cross Creek office and as faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Skaggs enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, shopping at Costco, and watching SEC football.
