PAD Quiz
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a condition in which arteries of the legs narrow because of plaque and cholesterol buildup.
Why is it important to know about PAD?
Having plaque in the legs often indicates there is plaque in other areas of the body, including arteries that lead to the heart and brain. At any time plaque can rupture and clots can form, cutting off blood supply and leading to a heart attack or stroke.
The physicians of the Heart & Vascular Institute of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) want to help you find out if you have PAD. The first step is simple – take this simple test. Call us if you score 3 points!
