All residents are required to complete a research project resulting in a presentation at an approved meeting or publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Support is available. Attendance and additional presentations at local, regional, and national meetings are encouraged.
Library
The Greenville Health System Health Sciences Library is fully staffed with librarians and assistants. Within the library (and throughout the Medical Center), computer literature searches are accessible through MEDLINE on the OVID system. Several personal computers with the capabilities of CD-ROM for personalized instruction also are available for the residents’ use on a 24-hour basis. Internet access is available as well.
