Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Greenville Health System. Our four-year Ob/Gyn Residency Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education, and was recently re-accredited for a four-year cycle in 2012. With excellent board pass rates, our residents graduate well-prepared for practice and many have successfully pursued highly desired fellowships in one of the Ob/Gyn subspecialties.
This highly respected program strives to provide high quality patient care in a supportive, team-oriented learning environment. Qualified and committed subspecialists provide resident training in the subspecialties of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal/Fetal Medicine, and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Experiences are enhanced by the department's commitment to research. Excellent research and library facilities, faculty mentors, and a dedicated research staff have led to numerous recent publications and honors. Rounding out the educational experience is a robust schedule of conferences, skills labs and simulations.
The residency program is centered in Greenville, SC. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, scenic Greenville offers the benefits of a large city while still maintaining a “small town” feel. An eclectic array of cultural activities, diverse outdoor experiences, an excellent school system and a wholesome family environment have helped place Greenville on Forbes Magazine Top 15 Best Cities for Young Professionals in 2011.
We hope you explore our website and then visit us on-site to examine our exceptional program for yourself.
With warm regards,
