The PGY-2 year is designed to give our Med-Peds residents increasing levels of responsibility as they progress to their supervisory roles. Our Med-Peds program currently has a 15-month “internship” with the first 3 month block of rotations during the second year at the PGY-1 level of responsibility. Our PGY-2 year includes opportunities for specialty electives in both IM and Peds to help with career planning.
