The fellow will have educational conferences that focus on minimally invasive approaches to solid organ removal, hernia, and foregut. Weekly conferences include morbidity and mortality conference for the Department of Surgery, GI conference, and minimally invasive surgery case conference. Grand rounds occur monthly. The fellow will make one grand rounds presentation on a topic of his/her choice. The MIS journal club meets monthly.
