Girls on the Run® Coach Training
Coaches are needed for the fall session of Girls on the Run, a program that combines training for a 5K with esteem-enhancing workouts for girls ages 8-15. You don’t need to be a runner, just enthusiastic about the healthy development of young girls. Training sessions are Sunday, August 22, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Greenville Life Center ® Health & Conditioning Club. Breakfast and lunch provided. To register, call 455-3252.
Girls on the Run® & Girls on Track®
The fall session of Girls on the Run and Girls on Track starts Sept. 7. These programs combine training for a 5K run with esteem-enhancing workouts for girls ages 8-15. Both programs are sponsored by Children’s Hospital of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center. Cost: $250 for 24 classes. Scholarships and monthly payment plans are available. SoleMates
Anyone interested in running the October 30 Spinx® Run Fest while raising funds for the local Girls on the Run program is urged to join SoleMates!
