Cell biology, molecular biology, and developmental biology researchers at Greenville Hospital System Oncology Research Institute are working to discover innovative approaches to cancer treatment. This is basic research – where a promising treatment begins with the question, “What if ... ?”

Current projects include a way to use lytic peptides to target prostate cancer cells and the development of a human prolactin antagonist to inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells.
