We know you want to be near your loved one as he or she prepares to undergo treatment with us. To help you during this time, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) has arranged for special rates at local hotels for our out-of-town patients and their guests. If you are spending the night before an early morning procedure, or if you have family or friends who want to stay close during your hospitalization, you may find this information useful in arranging your accommodations. When you call for your reservation, please let hotel staff know that you are a patient or family member.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House is located across the street from Greenville Memorial Hospital and provides safe, convenient, comfortable housing. In return, families who are able are asked to make a donation of $5 to $20 per day; however, no family will be turned away if they are unable to make a donation.
