Center for Teaching and Learning

(A system-wide entity to support Education and Workforce Development Initiatives)

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is an academic support unit of the GHS Clinical University devoted to interprofessional education and workforce development. The CTL leadership will provide oversight for resources and expertise to support the academic mission of GHS. Specifically, the CTL will provide administrative infrastructure and curricular support, as needed, for all academic programs on the Greenville academic campus to include pipeline programs, UME, GME, CME, pharmacy, allied health, nursing, and professional development. The CTL comprises five academic administrative offices. The CTL will provide a synergistic approach to education and workforce development; be a coordinating entity for the strategically focused GHS Health Care Workforce Direction model; and coordinate with the Institute for Advancement of Health Care (IAHC) Scholars and Scientific Core to support research training and dissemination.
