At the Center for Success in Aging, board-certified geriatricians from Greenville Hospital System University Medical Group provide comprehensive geriatric assessment for seniors age 55 and over.
The assessment is a thorough medical, social and physical evaluation performed by a team of specialists to help identify issues that may contribute to health problems in older adults.
It is important to note that the Center also evaluates older adults who enjoy an active lifestyle.

A physician referral is required for a geriatric assessment. The purpose of the senior center is the evaluation and treatment of senior-related health issues. Doctors in the center are not primary care physicians—they are geriatric specialists. Patients are assessed, treated, and returned to their primary care doctor for general overall medical care. Follow-up appointments take place as needed.
