Physician Referrals

A physician referral is required for a geriatric assessment. The purpose of the senior center is the evaluation and treatment of senior-related health issues. Doctors in the center are not primary care physicians—they are geriatric specialists. Patients are assessed, treated, and returned to their primary care doctor for general overall medical care. Follow-up appointments take place as needed.
