Lipid Management Program

The Lipid Management Program at Greenville Hospital System combines intensive therapeutic lifestyle changes and medical management to bring lipid levels into range as recommended by the National Cholesterol Education Program. National studies report that lowering lipids (the components of cholesterol) is more successful when medical management is combined with lifestyle changes than with medical management alone.

This 12-week program is available through physician or self-referral. The clinical team includes physicians, nurses, exercise physiologists, and dietitians who will meet with you individually and within group sessions to reach lipid reduction goals set for your personal health history and risk factors.
