Greenville Memorial Hospital serves as both a community hospital and a regional referral center, offering the area’s most advanced health services and medical technology. This 710-bed hospital also serves as a regional teaching and research facility.

Access to Care
Greenville Memorial Hospital is located at 701 Grove Road in Greenville on the corner of Grove and Faris roads, less than two miles from Interstate 85.

Directions:

From Atlanta, Ga.
Take Interstate 85 North toward Greenville. Exit into Greenville on I-185 (Exit 42, U.S. 29). At the traffic light, turn right onto Henrydale Drive. Go one block to the next traffic light; turn right onto Grove Road. For MMOB location, turn left at next light (Faris Road) and turn left at next light (building with red strip on it.)

From Charlotte, N.C.
Take I-85 South toward Greenville. Take Exit 44 (White Horse Road) and turn right. International hospital signs are posted along this route. The road will be marked U.S. 25. Go to the second traffic light, and turn right onto Grove Road.

From Columbia, S.C.
Take I-26 toward Greenville/Spartanburg. As you get closer to Greenville, I-26 will go to Spartanburg, but you should follow I-385 toward Greenville. Travel on I-385 until you come to Exit I-85 South to Atlanta. Take I-85 South until you get to Exit 44 (White Horse Road). Blue international hospital signs are posted along this route. Take the Exit 44 ramp, turn right onto U.S. 25, and go to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Grove Road.

From North Carolina via U.S. 25 and U.S. 276 South
Follow U.S. 25 and U.S. 276 into Greenville. They will merge into U.S. 25 Business, also known as Buncombe Street. Continue on Buncombe Street, which will become one way (the name will change to North Street). You will cross Academy, Richardson, Main and Spring streets. Turn right onto Church Street. Turn left at the fourth traffic light, Augusta Street (U.S. 25 south). Turn right at first traffic light onto Grove Road.

Greer Medical Campus, which includes Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital and Roger Huntington Nursing Center, provides high-quality healthcare to residents in the Greer and Taylors area, as well as to residents of southern Spartanburg County. Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital features all private rooms, including labor/delivery/recovery suites, medical/surgical services for inpatients and outpatients, and a 24-hour Emergency Trauma Center.

Emergency Services
Our Level III Emergency Trauma Center is staffed 24 hours a day by the same board-certified doctors who rotate throughout all Greenville Hospital System emergency facilities, ensuring access to the highest quality emergency care.

Diagnostic Services
Patients may be referred by their doctors to Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital for a variety of services, including lab, radiology, and surgery.

Specialty Programs
In addition to emergency care and diagnostic services, these specialty services are available:

  • Women's Services, including maternity care
  • Laser and endoscopic surgeries
  • Special Care Unit providing intensive care services to acutely ill patients

Roger Huntington Nursing Center
This 88-bed skilled nursing care center features private and semi-private rooms with 24-hour nursing supervision. Specialized staff members provide social, financial, administrative, dietary, and nursing services for our residents. Support services also are available.

Approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the center offers access to 24-hour emergency care and other healthcare services at Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital.

Directions:

From I-85, take exit 56 (S.C. 14) toward Greer. Drive approximately six miles. S.C. 14 will meet U.S. 29 (Wade Hampton Boulevard). At that stoplight, turn left onto Wade Hampton Boulevard. At the next stoplight (about 0.5 mile), Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital on the Greer Medical Campus will be on your left.

North Greenville Hospital features long term acute care, 24-hour emergency care, outpatient laboratory and radiology service, and pediatric and orthopaedic services.

Long Term Acute Care
GHS North Greenville Hospital is a 45-bed facility designated for adult (age 18 or older) long-term acute care. Experienced critical care staff provide around-the-clock patient-focused care in a tranquil environment that is conducive to healing.

What is Long Term Acute Care? Long Term Acute Care is for patients requiring an extended hospital stay of 14 days or more before returning home. Examples of conditions that could result in a long term stay include cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disorders, wound care, ventilator management, and antibiotic therapy. Long term acute care is not the same as subacute, or nursing home care. Rather, it is a setting where patients with complex medical conditions can receive additional care until they are ready to go home.

The emergency department at North Greenville Hospital is staffed by the same board-certified doctors who rotate throughout all Greenville Hospital System emergency facilities, ensuring residents of northern Greenville County access to the highest quality emergency care.

Patewood Memorial Hospital is located at the intersection of Enterprise Boulevard and Pelham Road, with convenient access to Interstate 385.

Directions:

From Downtown Greenville Take I-385 South to Haywood Road exit. Turn left on Haywood. Turn right on Pelham Road, then right on Patewood Road. Turn left on Enterprise Boulevard.

From Interstate 85 Take I-385 North (toward Greenville). Take the Haywood Road Exit; turn right at the end of the ramp. At second light, turn right onto Pelham Road. At next light, turn right on to Patewood Drive. At next light, turn left onto Orchard Park Drive and onto the Patewood Memorial Hospital. Follow the posted signs for patient parking.

From I-85, take I-385 South towards Columbia. Take Exit 31 (S.C. 417). At end of exit ramp, turn left. U.S. 417 will become Main Street. Hillcrest Memorial Hospital will be on your left on the Hillcrest Memorial Hospital camput (just past the road leading to Hillcrest High school).
