Sleep Disorders Center

Nearly half of all Americans have some kind of sleep disorder, with insomnia being the most common. Worry, anxiety and major or minor health problems can all affect the quality of sleep. If simple tension-reducing measures such as a warm bath or moderate exercise do not help restore normal sleeping patterns, medical help may be needed.

American Academy of Sleep Medicine board-certified physicians can diagnose and treat sleep problems in patients as young as 1-year to adults at Greenville Hospital System Sleep Disorders Center. Our full-service center can diagnose the following disorders:

  • Insomnia
  • Sleep apnea
  • Narcolepsy
  • Periodic leg movements
  • Restless legs

The following studies can be performed on an outpatient basis:

  • MSLT (nap study)
  • NPSG (sleep study)
  • CPAP titrations
  • BiPAP titrations
