Greenville Hospital System Children’s Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents at Greenville Memorial Hospital. The 64-bed Children’s Hospital includes the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unitand the Upstate's most advanced Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Here, the area’s greatest number of pediatric specialists, alongside highly trained nurses, clinicians, and Child Life specialists, deliver outstanding care in a child-friendly environment. Unique specialty programs provide the finest pediatric care available to children with AIDS, cancer, heart problems, epilepsy, and many other childhood illnesses.

All school-age hospitalized children have access to the Children's Hospital School, a collaborative program offered in parthership with the Greenville County School System. Attendees of this program are not counted as absent for school days missed due to hospitalizations.
