In accordance with the South Carolina Hospital Infections Disclosure Act, hospitals now report certain hospital-acquired infection data to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Beginning February 1, 2008, consumers will have on-line access to hospital acquired infection data from 61 South Carolina hospitals with the information being posted on the DHEC Web site.  Click here to learn more.
