As a parent of a student athlete, you want your child to play well and, most of all, to play safely. You are entrusting your child to athletic trainers as well as to coaches and school personnel, so it’s important that you have confidence in their qualifications and ability.
GHS certified athletic trainers carry out that responsibility by enhancing the quality of healthcare for student athletes through injury prevention, immediate care, and treatment, as well as any rehabilitation necessary to help restore them to pre-injury condition. Our highly trained athletic trainers also work with student athletes on pre-season conditioning workouts, offering the same services supplied to college athletes. All GHS athletic trainers are state licensed and board certified members of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Injuries can take your student athlete out of the game. Through partnerships with community orthopaedists, GHS certified athletic trainers can arrange an appointment quickly, enabling your athlete to begin appropriate treatment and rehabilitation as soon as possible. Your child will work with his or her athletic trainer from the point of injury to the completion of rehabilitation.
