Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the Children's Hospital provides diagnostic and treatment programs for patients from birth to age 18 with the following signs and symptoms: chronic abdominal pain, recurrent vomiting, swallowing or feeding difficulty, chronic diarrhea, constipation, encopresis, gastrointestinal bleeding, jaundice, hepatomegaly, weight loss, and obesity.

Gastroenterologists provide expertise in management of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease, ulcer disease, liver disease, malabsorption syndromes, gastroesophageal reflux, GI motility disorders, pancreatic disorders, and advanced nutrition support by gastrostomy tube or intravenous hyperalimentation.
