Greenville Hospital System is committed to the highest level of surgical cancer care. With more fellowship trained surgical oncologists than any other cancer treatment center in South Carolina, we offer the latest and most effective surgical procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Fellowship trained physicians have chosen to become highly specialized within a particular specialty. Greenville Hospital System Cancer Center surgical oncologists have extensive experience in the surgical treatment of the following:

  • Hepato-biliary cancers

  • Colorectal cancer, including sentinel node biopsy

GHS surgical oncologists also participate in the GHS Oncology Multidisciplinary Center (MDC) that, in collaboration with CancerCenters of the Carolinas, brings together medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists pertinent to a specific malignancy. In a single visit, the patient meets with each physician, then the physicians meet as a team to discuss treatment options. Before the end of the appointment, the patient has a plan of care.
